The aim of Journal de la faculté de médecine d'Oran is to make health science production visible and accessible nationally and internationally. It is intended for all health actors in a multidisciplinary perspective (medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, basic, human and social sciences). The vocation of the journal is to support research in the health sciences,to promote the sharing knowledge between researchers and actors in the field. Publications in French or English must be in accordance with "Instructions to authors"(https://jfmo-dz.net, https://www.asjp.cerist.dz/en/PresentationRevue/589). It should be noted that the Journal de la Faculté de Médecine d’Oran (J.F.M.O) has not come out of thin air. It has historical landmarks and pioneers. The journal is the realisation of a group of university hospital staff who acquired some experience, respectively, in the Research Center of Socialcutural Anthropology of Oran (CRASC, 2002) with the birth of "SENS", a journal dealing with environmental sciences related to health,and the Research Unit of Social Sciences and Health (GRAS, 2013).This same group who contribute to the strengthening of editions « GRAS’s notebooks and footprints »,landed at the faculty of medicine of Oran on november,2015 to implement Journal of the Faculty of Medicine project(during the tenure of Abdelmadjid Snouber as dean of the faculty of medicine). Thus, was born Journal of the Faculty of Medicine of Oran1’s first edition (JFMO n°0) on March, 2017.Abdelmadjid Snouber, Merouane Boukrissa, Ahmed Semmoud were part of this group.
