Abstract

Introduction-Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder that impairs tissue healing and alters immune responses, potentially compromising the resolution of periapical lesions after endodontic treatment. The present study aimed to radiographically evaluate the healing of endodontic-origin inflammatory periapical lesions (EOIPLs) in patients with T2DM.
