Abstract
Introduction Le syndrome d’hypertension intracrânienne idiopathique est une affection touchant la femme jeune, rarement l’enfant. Il se manifeste par un cortège de signes cliniques généraux et ophtalmologiques. Le diagnostic et la prise en charge sont multidisciplinaires. Observation Une enfant âgée de 6 ans est admise pour diplopie brutale associée à des céphalées et des vomissements. Le diagnostic d’une hypertension intracrânienne idiopathique est retenu par l’examen clinique confirmé par l’imagerie. La guérison est obtenue par le traitement médical complété par la chirurgie.
