Résumé
Introduction - La thrombose veineuse cérébrale est une pathologie qui touche en général la femme jeune. Elle expose à une hypertension intracrânienne qui dans de rares cas entraine un engagement qui compromet le pronostic vital.
C’est dans ces cas où la craniotomie décompressive trouve son intérêt. Cette technique n’a jamais été pratiquée pour cette indication au Centre Hospitalo-
Universitaire d’Oran.
Observation - Nous rapportons le cas d’une patiente âgée de 24 ans, admise en réanimation pour thrombose veineuse cérébrale maligne avec hémorragie sous arachnoïdienne et engagement sous falcoriel, ayant bénéficié d’une craniotomie décompressive.
